Desperation
On a desolate stretch of highway in Nevada, travelers are pulled over by a local cop with a dead stare and a badge that means nothing good. They’re taken to the nearby mining town of Desperation; abandoned, sun-scorched, and hiding something ancient beneath its cracked surface.
As the captives try to survive, they begin to realize they’ve been brought together for a reason. Something is awake beneath the town. Something old. Something evil. And it doesn’t bleed.
Desperation is a heavy, harrowing novel about faith, fear, and the unseen forces at war beneath the skin of the world. The violence is brutal, the evil is cosmic, and the terror stretches far beyond the borders of that empty desert road.
